Job Summary:
Manager all aspects of the aesthetics department and team members, manage all Redmint’s skin care and retail products, and assist with product launch events and educational events for our internal/external community. Must have excellent communication skills, problem-solving skills and maintain a high level of customer service standards. Responsible for providing clients with comprehensive and professional facials, and product knowledge. Responsible for assisting all service providers with skin care protocol training, product knowledge, and product inventory. The successful candidate will be on schedule to provide professional facial treatment for 3 days/week and retail operation duties for 2 days/week.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide consistent professional facial treatments in accordance with Redmint’s protocols and accepted certification practices for approximately 60% of the schedule, while responsible for retail sales & Aesthetic operations duties about 40% of the time.
- Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure that all equipments/supplies are property sanitized. Perform prep work, properly clean and restock room as required.
- Possess excellent time management skills that can perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service.
- Set sales goals and targets for aesthetic department and overall store level on monthly/quarterly basis.
- Drive retail products sales in store and provide product training to other departments.
- Train and mentor other estheticians to ensure consistent quality services and adhering to company standards.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the esthetics department to ensure consistency and compliance with regulations.
- Serve as the aesthetic liaison and lead events in key retail partners.
- Provide outstanding customer services, handle customer complaints related to esthetician department and ensure that all clients concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
- Keep up to date on industry trends and advancements in skincare to implement/provide the best possible services to clients
- Manage all aspects of Aesthetic operation.
- Manage esthetics staff schedules and the hiring process of estheticians.
- Actively promote Redmint, treatments, memberships, services and retail, as well as programs and promotions
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Passionate about holistic healing, wellness and selfcare routines.
- Ability to close sales and develop/execute strategies to improve sales performance.
- Possess a mindset of excellent customer services and outstanding experiences as a top priority.
- Solid experiences in advance aesthetics, HydraFaical, peels and facial massages.
- A team player with excellent communication and listening skills.
- Hold and maintain a current California state license, and a current liability insurance
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
- Adhere to professional ethical standards and maintain confidentiality of clients and company.
- Minimum of five years’ experience as lead esthetician and/or department manager. Advanced degree preferred.
- Have weekend and/or night shift availability, Be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the Redmint.
